About Me.

Automation, Built to Run Itself

I did not come to automation from a CS degree. I learned to build with AI at Gem Awards, an ecommerce awards store in Utah, because the same manual work kept eating the same hours every single day, and some of those hours were mine.

The system I built to fix that now runs the company's core production process: 5,285+ orders through it, about 200 a day, and roughly 240 hours a month handed back to the team. Then I made it stop needing me. It runs 24/7 on its own server, and I trained the team so the business owns the system instead of renting me. Along the way I built the rest of what the business needed and could not buy: five custom WooCommerce plugins, about 28,500 lines of code, that replaced thousands a year in SaaS, and a lifecycle email engine reaching 17,000 subscribers at a 49% open rate.

The first manual process I ever automated was one I had to live with myself. That is the standard I hold your build to. It has to survive daily use by the person stuck with it.
